Kuze Michine (1745-1816). The Kuze house is related to the Murakami Genji lineage, being a side lineage of the Koga house. The founder of the Kuze lineage is Minor Captain of the Right Michinori, second son of Koga Provisional Dainagon Atsumichi. Kuze is named after the place name of Kuze, the lineage of the eldest son, where the Koga had their villa residence, therefore Koga Tomomichi named himself Kuze the grand minister Tomomichi and Koga Michinobu named himself Kuze Minor Captain Michinobu, and so on. The poems are sometimes written in two lines, or scattered across the page, or sometimes written in a combination of image and text.
