和田家の仏間には、昔からの立派な仏壇があります。この仏間の手前には、普段使う玄関(どうじ)とは別に位の高い方々が出入りする式台つきの玄関(正面玄関)が設けられています。仏間では家の大切な行事が行われます。
　The Butsuma of the Wada House has a splendid Buddhist altar, maintained from generations before. The front of the Butsuma adjoins the main entrance to welcome high-ranking visitors, aside from a Doji that was for normal use. Important family events are held in the Butsuma area.
