でいおよびおくのでいは来客用の部屋です。おくのでいには書院造の床が設けてあり、日本の伝統的な建築の様式を見ることができます。
　でいはおくのでいに比べて簡易な作りになっています。でいとおくのでいはふすまで仕切られています。
　Dei and Okunodei are rooms for guests. The Okunodei was made in the traditional Shoin-zukuri style incorporating a tatami-mat room with an alcove and sliding doors set with fine washi paper. The Dei is of a simple construction compared to the Okunodei. The Dei and Okunodei are divided by a fusuma, or a thickly-papered decoratively-painted sliding door.
