Mount Ogi is located in the center of Shiwa Cho. The Sekikawa River flows from west to east and flat land lies along the river. Surrounded by high mountains, the town has rich nature where fireflies can be seen.
Fields and farms stretch across the flat land and at the foot of the mountains. Shiwa Cho also has many temples and shrines, as well as three golf courses.
Shiwa IC on Sanyo Expressway is located in the town, and factories and industrial parks are built nearby for easy truck access.
