What kind of place is the Gardening Center? |
The Gardening Center is a place where people who are interested in agriculture study agricultural products and conduct research on crops that are easy to grow in Higashihiroshima.
On the Center’s farm, popular vegetables (tomatoes, eggplants, cabbage, and white radish), fruits (Saijogaki persimmons and grapes) and flowers (Lisianthus, etc.) are grown. The Center tests various species and growing methods for each crop to find crops that are suited to the climate and soil of Higashihiroshima City.
