Clock Tower
The Clock Tower is a building with a bell to tell the time. It was built about 90 years ago in 1922 to value time. It was built in the United States of America and sent from people living there. It is now equipped with a siren instead of a bell and still tells the time to local people.

Main gate of Namitaki-ji Temple
Namitaki-ji Temple was built in 773 and has a long history of over 1,200 years.
Most of its buildings were rebuilt after being severely damaged by a typhoon about 250 years ago. Nio-mon Gate at the entrance is a precious monument that still has its original pillars.
Hanging scrolls and Buddha statues at the temple are designated as Important Cultural Properties of Higashihiroshima City.

Let’s check if there are old monuments around our school.
