Takaya Cho is surrounded by mountains and has rich nature with many fields. At the same time, many people live in residential areas around Nishitakaya Station. There are prefectural and private junior / senior high schools and universities. It is a lively town with large supermarkets and shops.
The JR Sanyo Main Line and Sanyo Expressway run east and west, with access to Hiroshima City, Kure City, Fukuyama City, and other cities outside Hiroshima Prefecture from Takaya IC.
Industrial parks are located nearby for easy access. Many factories are located in other areas as well.
