In Kurose Cho, Kurosegawa River flows from northeast to southwest through the town center. Plains stretch along the river.
Mountains surround the area, and fields lie along the river.
　
Many residential complexes are built on the flat land at the foot of these gently sloping mountains. Some areas are also used for factories and golf courses.
Route 375 runs through the town center towards Kure City and Saijo Cho. The opening of Higashihiroshima-Kure Expressway also enabled quick access to Kure City, Saijo Cho, and Hiroshima Airport.
