Rice and vegetable cultivation
Rice cultivation has flourished in Kurose Cho since old times. However, after the government recommended the cultivation of other crops instead of rice, rice fields were turned into farms and residential areas.
Farmers grow vegetables that are suited to the local climate and soil and generate a lot of income, such as eggplant, cabbage, Chinese cabbage, and white radish.
