Kochi Cho is located in the east of Higashihiroshima City. It is surrounded by high mountains, with the Nutagawa River flowing from northwest to southeast. Flat land along the Nutagawa River is used for farming and residential areas.
JR Nyuno Station and JR Kochi Station are located in the town. There are many buildings, such as Kochi Branch, Welfare Center and shops, around JR Kochi Station. Kochi IC on Sanyo Expressway is located in the south of Kochi Cho. It is often used by people who go to Hiroshima Airport. Factories are located in Rinku Industrial Park in Nyuno District, next to the airport.
