Akitsu Port (ferry port)
Akitsu Cho has a ferry port. The ferry connects Akitsu Port and Onishi Port on Osakikamijima Island. It is used by about 500 people every day.

Oshibaohashi Bridge
Oshibaohashi Bridge opened in 1997. It is the only bridge that connects the mainland and island in Higashihiroshima City.
It is 470 m long and connects Oshiba Island and Komatsubara in Akitsu Cho.

Akitsu History and Folk Museum
This museum exhibits documents related to the production of sake, red bricks, and Mr. Senzaburo Miura, the father of the Mitsu master brewer.
