To prepare for big fires and disasters, Higashihiroshima City holds Higashihiroshima City Disaster Drills in cooperation with various organizations.
The Police Station, Japan Maritime and Ground Self-Defense Force, Fire Brigade, and each community’s autonomous disaster prevention groups take part in the drills.
They train themselves while thinking about how to cooperate with each other to save people in case of disasters. They are determined to protect their own town.
