“Kyoto Daiichi High School (Present Rakuhoku High School) Forms a Rugby Team”
“Ban Kayama, who was a boat club member at that time and later established a rugby team for Kyoto Daiichi Junior High School, watched a rugby match between Keio and Daisan on 10 January 1912. He was totally attracted and fascinated by this sport.
