“Keio's Fifth Tour to Kansai”
Keio toured Kansai for the fifth time since the 1st scheduled match with KR&AC was held in February 1908. Their tour schedule was tight which would be unthinkable nowadays, showing their amazing toughness. Despite a defeat by KR&AC 15-5, Keio won a scheduled match with Daisan High School which served as their comeback match, and continued to stay unbeaten against domestic teams since the club's establishment. However, Keio went head-to-head against Doshisha 8-5.

“Kyoto Daiichi Commercial High School (Present Saikyo High School) and Kyoto Daisan Junior High School (Present Yamashiro High School) Form Rugby Teams”
Stimulated by Kyoto Daiichi Junior High School that formed a rugby team, Kyoto Daiichi Commercial High School and Kyoto Daisan Junior High School also formed rugby teams. Back in those days, Keio was only the school organization that had a rugby team. Establishment of rugby teams for Daisan High School and Doshisha University, along with the Old Boys' teams of Shinryo Club and Kyoto Club, motivated other schools, Daiichi Junior Highs School, Daiichi Commercial High School, and Daisan Junior High School, to establish rugby teams. This made Kyoto the Mecca of rugby.
