“Keio Tours Kansai”
Although Keio graced their tour by sweeping all three games, they narrowly won two games, the one with Daisan 3-0 and the other one with Doshisha 5-3. It was as if they were dancing on thin ice. However, they continued to stay unbeaten when it comes to domestic matches.
7th scheduled match held on 6 Jan. 1920: Keio 3-0 Daisan
8th scheduled match held on 8 Jan. 1920: Keio 5-3 Doshisha

“3rd Japan Football Tournament (Toyonaka)”
At this tournament, the categories were divided into the junior-high class, and the university and college class. However, only two teams participated in the junior-high class, which made the first match the final where Doshisha claimed the tournament title by defeating Kyoto Daiichi Commercial 3-0.
“Kansai Rugby Football Club (All White) is Established”
“Led by Teiichi Sugimoto, various parties including Waki, Nakano, Ishikura, and Sasaki from Keio and Takegami, Wada (Kawasaki), Owaki, Minobe, and Ueno from Doshisha had a discussion. They agreed to prepare for more development of Daisan High School and Doshisha University, and they also established the Kansai Rugby Football Club in order to disseminate rugby in the Kansai area.” This club played a significant role in creating a broad trend for Japanese rugby by promoting the establishment of the AJRA, founding the rugby unions in Kanto and Kansai, and serving as the mother of the JRFU.
