[JRFU] A journal from the Japan East Rugby Football Union, “Rugby Football”, was published in September 1933. This publication continued for a while, but Vol. 10 brought an end to this journal.
[Japan] Two Test Matches with the All-Australian Student Team: The Japan National team played in two test matches against the All-Australian Student team, resulting in having one win (18-8) and one loss (14-9). Ban Kayama served as the head coach, while Shisho Ka and Suguru Naito were the captains.
[University] Waseda's Two-Year Consecutive National Titles: Waseda adopted the tactic not only to use pressure, but also to allow the SH to participate in the offensive on the line immediately after throwing the ball into the scrum (Waseda had seven FWs). Their study on this tactic bore fruit, so that they defeated all teams in Kanto. Despite a draw with Doshisha, 8-8, at the 7th East-West Inter-University Championship, Waseda became the national champion for the second consecutive year due to being undefeated in the regular season while Doshisha had lost to Keio.
[International] The All-Australian Student team came to Japan for the first time, compiling a record of four wins and three losses. Other than the Japan national team, Keio won 16-8 and Meiji won 34-8, while the All-Kansai team was defeated 33-15, Waseda was defeated 21-6, and Doshisha was defeated 23-11. Doshisha toured Korea, achieving four wins. The Korean Railway Team came to Japan on their second tour, and returned home with two wins and two losses. The Tokyo Railway Team toured Shanghai in January with one win and one loss.
