First Season
[University] Since university students' graduation was moved up, the club members that joined in 1942 moved their season up to the spring, and those who joined in 1943 did so to the autumn to hold their rugby matches. Having no matches with Doshisha, Waseda crushed Kyoto 32-5 on June 7, so that they were declared as the national champion for the sixth time and for two consecutive years. Waseda claimed their sixth tournament title for two consecutive years by winning all their games at the 15th Kanto Inter-University Rugby Tournament. Doshisha claimed their sixth tournament title at the 16th Kansai Inter-University Rugby Tournament for the first time in four years.
[International] Waseda toured Manchurian leaving Japan on August 10, and took part in the East Asian Games held to commemorate the 10th Anniversary for the Founding of Manchurian.
Second Season
[JRFU] On 11 February 1943, the East-West Student Selection Match was held at the Jingu Stadium as a farewell for students that went off to the war front. The Kanto student team gained a victory over the Kansai student team 32-21.
[University] Keio crushed Kyoto and Doshisha at the 17th East-West University Championship, claiming their third championship title for the first time in 12 years. Keio beat Waseda and became the champion at the 16th Kanto Inter-University Rugby Tournament by winning all their games for the first time in 13 years. In the 17th Kansai Inter-University Tournament, three universities were deadlocked with equal records which postponed the final championship.
[International] The Korean Railway Team came to Japan for the tenth time which marked their last visit. They won all five games by dfeating Kyoto 33-0, Doshisha 24-14, Sapporo Railway Bureau 41-0, Nippon Nainen 47-0, and Manchurian Dengyo 38-9.
