[International] The Hong Kong national team came to Japan in April, meeting the Japan national team in a non-test match. They were defeated by Japan 20-6, also were held off by the All-Kyoto team 17-12, ending their tour with lackluster performance. Japan national team toured Sri Lanka on a request made by the Sri Lanka Rugby Football Union prior to the Asia Rugby Championship held there in November. The Japan national team swept all three matches. Cambridge came to Japan in March 1975. They lost the match against the Japan national team by a narrow margin, but they managed to save face by sweeping all other matches: Cambridge 52-3 Waseda, Cambridge 35-25 All-Japan Students, and Cambridge 32-16 Nippon Steel.
