It is hard to believe that Japan came from behind and won the tough match against Samoa in the Pacific Rim Championship last year. This time, Japan was overwhelmed by the speed and the power of Samoa. They conceded 10 tries, and were completely defeated without being able to do anything including a try. Samoa's strong tackling was simply great. It was fast, vigorous, and hit the target hard. With this tackling, Samoa gained possession with textbook turnover. Japan moved extremely badly in the second half, and the game turned more one-sided. I could not see the pride of the national team in them.
