Left New York 9 a.m. by D. L. and W road and arrived at the Dansville station a little before 6 p.m. Mr. Robert, the youngest son of Mr. H T. McNair met me at the village and drove me to the house which is about three miles. At the house met Mrs. McNair, Mr. H. T. McNair, and Mrs. Gregory.

午前9時にデラウェア・ラッカワナ・アンド・ウェスタン鉄道に乗ってニューヨークを経ち、午後6時少し前にダンズビル駅に到着。ミスター・H・T・マクネアの末の息子であるミスター・ロバートが村で待っていてくれ、3マイルほど離れた家まで車で連れて行ってくれた。そこでミセス・マクネア、ミスター・H・T・マクネア、ミセス・グレゴリーに会った。
