Spoke at the noon union meeting in the Dwight Hall. The room was full. They seemed to be interested. Was invited by the Japanese students in New Haven to a Japanese lunch. There were six of them. Matsumoto, Yamada, Masao, Miura, ［Sakata?］ And another young fellow. Two of them expect to go to Northfield.
ドワイト・ホールで行われた昼の［イェール大学の］青年会で演説した。満員だった。皆興味を持ってくれたようだった。
ニューヘイブンの日本人学生たちに、和食の昼食会に招かれた。マツモト、ヤマダ、マサオ、ミウラ、サカタ、そしてあともう1人、計6人の若者が参加していた。うち2人は、ノースフィールドに行くつもりだそうだ。
