Dr. Mackenzie spoke on “good luck”. Attempting to show that there was no such thing as chance or luck. As it rained several delegates from Europe spoke in the Auditorium instead of the “Round Top.” All of them spoke rather poor English except one from Holland.
Mr. Moody spoke on the qualifications for the Christian work. It was very good. He seemed to be at his best. He has a wonderful power.
The delegates from Brown University invited us Japanese and Chinese delegations to their meeting and asked us to tell them the hinderences[sic] in the way of the Christian work. They showed a very nice spirit.
