Rained hard since last night and it has become much more cooler. Went over to Dr. Hepburn’s in the afternoon. Dr. took me to the prayer meeting in the Brick Presbyterian Church. It rained so hard that only ten or dozen people came. Dr. surprised me by his vigorous walkings both ways.
昨夜から激しい雨が降り続き、ぐっと涼しくなった。午後はドクター・ヘボンの家を訪れた。ドクターはブリック長老派教会の祈祷会へ連れて行ってくれた。
雨があまりに激しく降っていたので、10から12人くらいの人しか来ていなかった。ドクターが行きも帰りもきびきびと歩いていたのに驚いた。
