Rev. Morgan of London spoke in the morning on John 7.27-28. It was a very searching discourse. His point was before the spiritual influence there must the right relation with Jesus. A man must come to him first and then there will be rivers of water flowing out of him. “First” expresses the supreme desire in one’s mind.
Mr. Forry spoke in the evening. He lacks the depth of thinking and perhaps experience too.
午前中はロンドンのモーガン師がヨハネによる福音書の7章2728節についてスピーチをした。とても鋭い内容だった。精神的な影響を受ける前には、イエスとの正しい関係を育むことが必要だとの主張だった。まずは彼を信じる必要があり、それから初めて、人の内から水が川となって流れ出るようになるのだ。そして渇きとは心の中にある至高の願いを表しているのだ。
夕方にはミスター・フォリーがスピーチをした。彼は思慮深さに欠けていて、恐らく経験も足りていない。
