Left Northfield by 9.40 train from South Vernon and came to New York about 4 P.M.
Came directly to the students club, 129 Lexington ave. where I had engaged a room. In the evening I went over to the Y.M.C.A. Building and read. It is quite warm here.
サウス・バーノン駅9時40分発の汽車でノースフィールドを離れ、午後4時頃にニューヨークに到着。部屋を予約していた、レキシントン・アベニュー129番地の学生クラブに直行した。夕方にはYMCAの建物に行って読書した。こちらは結構暑い。
