Having nothing to do specially, went again to the Exhibition. But having been through it once I was not so much interested and returned “home” about 2 p. m.
In the evening Mr. S. Suzuki called and I had a pleasant talk with him for two hours or so. He told me that he met Tamura at the Japanese Y. M. C. A. He told me also that Honda had come to London.
This is the day for the commencement of the Theological Department in Meiji Gakuin.
特にすることもなかったので、再び日英博覧会に行った。しかし、既に一度一通り見ているためそこまで興味を持てず、午後2時頃に滞在先に戻った。
夕方にミスター・S・スズキが訪ねてきて、2時間ほど歓談した。日本のYMCAで田村に会ったと教えてくれた。また、本多がロンドンに来ていることも知らせてくれた。
本日は、明治学院神学部の卒業式の日である。
