Diarrhea has not entirely stopped, and staid all day. A rather interesting man Kawaguchi by name called on Mr. Ohori. He taught Roosevelt jujitsu and told me some interesting things about him. He has a German wife I am told. He seems to be a very earnest Christian but a very narrow minded man.
下痢症状は完全に良くなってはおらず、終日部屋で過ごす。カワグチという名のなかなか面白い男がミスター・オオホリを訪ねてくる。彼はルーズベルトに柔術を教えていたそうで、ルーズベルトについて興味深い話をいくつかしてくれた。彼の妻はドイツ人だそうだ。非常に熱心なキリスト教信者のようだが、とても了見の狭い男だった。
