The paper says yesterday was the hottest day in the year. 94 degrees. The humidity 85 degrees. I felt the heat very much. Staid up on the roof until 11 o’clock at night.
昨日が今年最も暑い日だったと、朝刊に書いてあった。華氏94度。湿度は85パーセント。暑くてたまらない。夜も11時まで屋上で過ごした。
