A beautiful Sunday morning.

Bishop Brent preached from Rev. 4:1―2 a powerful sermon, one of the greatest sermons I have ever heard. It was of high [-est]intellectual order and yet deeply spiritual.

The conference has just closed. It has been a most delightful and in some respects one of the most remarkable I have ever attended. Dr. Mott's closing address was strong. Mr. Hunton, a negro, gave a very good address in “Negro Race" this afternoon.

好天に恵まれた日曜の朝。

ブレント主教が説教し、ヨハネの黙示録 4章12節に基づき、力強い説教を行う。私が聴いた中でも最高の部類に入る。高度に知的でありながら、深い霊性に満ちていた。

閉会となった。非常に楽しく、またこれまでに出席した中でも目覚ましい会であった。ドクター・モットの閉会演説は力強かった。黒人のミスター・ハントンが「黒色人種について」というすばらしい演説をした。
