Mr. Brockman spoke about the recent changes in China. In
the afternoon I spoke on the laws & ethical problems of new Japan. Dr. Chamberlain wanted my notes. He thought it could be published in the Outlook or the Independent. A German Sec. wanted to translate it into German. Brockman made another strong appeal for China. Brockman, McMillan, Miss Welles and myself left Eagles Mere in an automobile at 8.15 and rode in it for thirty miles or more. Then took train for Phil. where changed again for New York.
