Left Milan by 7.10 train for Venice.
The scenery is quite different now. It looks more like Japan with mulberry trees and corns. Tops of hills are dotted by monasteries. After lunch we were taken by the guide to a store called[判読不能]glass manufacturing beads and I bought a couple of tea cups & saucers for L. 30. On the way back we were again taken to another store and bought a few more cups[for]tea. This is a very interesting city. An Italian worship is in harbor.
