First went to the Fraumunster Church which I found fairly full. I did not stay more than ten minutes because the service was in German. At eleven I went to the St. Anna Chappel where a Dr. Good preached in English to the American tourists. About 50 people were present. In the afternoon called on Mr. Jun Ishiwara and took with him a long walk over the hill. He came to my pension［?］and took supper with me. We had a very pleasant chat.
まずはフラウミュンスター教会へ。ほぼ満員であった。礼拝がドイツ語だったため、10分足らずで退散する。11時に聖アンナ教会に行く。そこではドクター・グッドがアメリカ人観光客向けに英語で説教していた。50人ほどが出席していた。午後にはミスター・イシワラ・ジュンを訪ねる、そして彼と丘で長い散歩をした。その後私のペンション［?］へ来て一緒に夕食をとった。大変楽しく談笑した。
