Morning meditation. Small group. Chinese lawyer read passages from Confucius & Bible.
Morning session of which opening statements by Austria［sic］, Hawaii, China & New Zealand read. In the afternoon, Korea, Japan, Philippine［sic］, Canada and United States.
Evening Forum. Discussion on the statements made in morning & afternoon. Ichihashi asked why Australia felt so uneasy of［sic］Japanese. The reply was fear among the unthinking people. The Philipines［sic］between Williams and Benitez. Jaison challenged Japanese delegates to answer China. Zumoto did so but not very well. Harada summed［it］up better.
朝の瞑想。少人数で。中国人の弁護士が孔子と聖書の一節を朗読した。
朝の会合でオーストラリアと中国、ニュージーランドが開会のステートメントを読んだ。午後には韓国、日本、フィリピン、カナダと米国が読んだ。
夕方のフォーラム。午前と午後に発表されたステートメントについて議論された。市橋が、なぜオーストラリアは日本をここまで警戒するのかと問うた。答えは思慮のない人々の恐怖にあるとのこと。フィリピンについてウィリアムズとベニテスが発言。ジェイソンが日本代表団に中国への回答を求めた。頭本が答えたが、あまりう
