How to use a compass. |
| ①地面(めん)や手のひらなど平(たい)らな場所におきます。 | ① Place the compass on a flat surface like the ground or the palm of your hand. |
| ②色のついたはりを，北にあわせます。 | ② Point the colored needle towards the north. |
| ③北を上にして方いを調(しら)べます。 | ③ Find out the cardinal directions by placing north to the top. |
