七軒新田同様公文書にはない俗称であるが長谷部新田開発との深いかかわりのあるのでとりあげた。二本木村の地蔵堂のところで青梅街道と分岐した伊奈街道が所沢街道を横断するところで更に二又に分れる。西側の方が勘治郎道で、開発当初、親村である扇町屋から新田まで勘治郎が通った道であるという。 | Although it was a common name not found in the official archive, similar to Shichi-ken-shinden, it was adopted here because of its close relation with the Hasebe-shinden development. The Ina Kaido, which branched out from Ome Kaido at the Jizo-do in Nihongi Village, later forked in two further at the crossing with Tokorozawa Kaido. The western one is Kanjiro-michi which is said to be the path Kanjiro walked through from the parent village of Ogimachiya to the shinden at the early time of the development. |
