| 羽村道から東へ、東善院までの地域。大門村の名主市郎右衛門によって開かれたのでその名がある。前記のように検地に先立って、下師岡新田と合併してしまったので、大門新田という地名は忘れ去られている。この地域の特色は、出百姓の能力によって開発地を与えたので、その面積は区々であったが、広い土地を与えられたものの耕作能力の限界から再編成が何回か行われた。 | This is the area from the east of Hamura-michi to Tozen'in temple. The name was derived from the Daimon Village headman Ichiro'emon who developed this shinden. Because it had merged with Shimo-Moro'oka Shinden, prior to the land survey, as mentioned earlier, the place name of Daimon Shinden has been forgotten. A feature of this region was that the size of the new land given to the relocated farmers varied depending on their ability in the practice of cultivation. However, because some allocations were too large for the farmers to cultivate, several separate property reorganizations had to be undertaken. |
