| 像の高さは53cm、坐高37㎝、膝張(ひざはり)26㎝、寄木造(よせぎづくり)、胡粉仕上げ(ごふんしあげ)、彩色、直綴(じきとつ)に大衣(だいえ)をかけ、椅子上に趺坐(ふざ)する。玉眼(ぎょくがん)、胸の肉身部は頭部に固定している。両手はそれぞれ膝上に安じ、右手は物を握る姿勢をなすも、持物(じもつ)を欠く。左手は手首を失う。沓(くつ)を逸する。後世に左手首、持物、椅子、沓を復元修理した。像内に、木札があった由であるが今はない。 | The statue is 53 cm tall, and the seated figure is 37 cm tall and 26 cm across at the knees. Made of parquet wood, finished in chalk, painted, and wearing a jikitotsu and daie robes, it depicts a figure seated in a chair.It has glass eyes and an exposed chest area affixed to its head.Both hands rest on its knees. While its right hand is shaped to hold something, whatever that object was has been lost.Its left hand has been lost at the wrist.Its shoes have been removed.For posterity, its left wrist, the object in its hands, its chair, and its shoes have been repaired.It used to have a kifuda (wooden tag) inside, but it no longer does. |
