十王図(じゅうおうず)とは、死者が冥途に赴く時に、七日目ごとの四十九日までと、百日・一周忌・三回忌とそれぞれ地獄の王の裁判を受けるが、その時の様子を描いたものである。用紙・色彩及び画中の人物像などから近世の初期、おそらく慶長・元和頃(1596～1624)の作と推定される。

Juuouzu depicts ten judgments by deities in the hell for every seven day up the forty-ninth day, and for the hundredth day, the anniversary, and the second anniversary before the dead goes into the other world. This is presumed to be made in the beginning of the early modern times, perhaps between the Kichou period (1596) and the Genna period (1624), based on the paper, coloring, and the figures in the picture.
