          "尾張屋から板行された切絵図のひとつ。現在の台東区谷中・根岸のほか、文京・荒川・足立区の一部が記され、左側が北を指す。右下から左回りに上部左端、千住大橋まで、千駄木・谷中・根岸と町屋や寺院があるが、それ以外の多くは緑色に塗られた田畑で、農村地帯だという点が一目でわかる。谷中天王寺や道灌山など一部の名所に建造物と、ピンク色に塗られた桜が描かれている。<br>　文政10 年（1827）の『江戸名所花暦』に藤の名所として芋坂が次のように記される。「谷中感応寺うら通り本村のうち、根岸、坂本へ出る道に酒店あり。その軒近きにあり。」おそらくこれは、本絵図の右上、芋坂の東、「植木屋」が２軒並んでいる地点と考えられる。"
