馬冷池公園を南側から見た写真です。
平成8(1996)年、さざんかホールの建築にともない、市民会館は公園になりました。
同じころ、公園南側道路は広くされました。

At the same time, the street south of the park was also widened．

昭和36（1971）年、旧大和高田市民体育館が馬冷池公園南側にできました。昭和57（1982）年、総合体育館オープンに伴い、市民会館と名前が変わりました。(平成8年まで)
In 1961, the former Yamato Takada City Gymnasium was built on the south of Bareiike Park. It was renamed the “Civic Hall” when the general gymnasium opened in 1982. (until 1996)
