近畿地域の2府5県には、約2720の商店街があるとされていますが、景気がわるくなるとともに大きなショッピングセンターが次々とできて、競争がはげしくなっています。
その中で、特長ある商品づくりや地元の人々が何を欲しがっているかを考えて、再生し、にぎやかな商店街もあり、2015年に近畿経済産業局より33か所が選ばれました。
片塩商店街は近畿の「イケテル商店街33選」のひとつです。
Ranked as One of the 33 Coolest Shopping Streets in the Kinki region
There are about 2,720 shopping streets in the seven prefectures of the Kinki region, however, these streets have been experiencing intensified competition due to the worsening economy and continual emergence of large shopping centers.
Some of these streets were successfully revitalized into vibrant shopping streets by coming up with ideas to create original products that satisfy the needs of visitors. In 2015, 33 of these streets were recognized as the “33 coolest shopping streets” in the Kinki region by the Kansai Bureau of Economy, Trade and Industry
and Katashio Shopping Street was one of them.

「おかげさまの心でおもてなし」が全国に発信されています。
Ranked as One of the Most Dynamic Shopping Streets
In recognition of our efforts to understand and offer services and products that are unique to our community and that satisfy the needs of our visitors, as well as our efforts to provide an environment where local people can interact with each other, we were ranked as one of the “30 most dynamic shopping streets” by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry in 2016.
We seek to spread appreciative hospitality throughout Japan.
