片塩商店街を探検して、お店の人たちが、商店街を買物だけでなく、美しいものを見たり楽しさを感じたりできる場所にしようと力を出しておられることが良くわかりました。一人の力では出来ないことでも片塩カルチャーセンターにみんなが集まって相談し、実現しています。また片塩カルチャーセンターは、落語会をしたりコンサート会場や展覧会場にもなって、片塩商店街の活動をしっかり支えるかなめの役割をしていて、なくてはならない施設だと感じられました。
 
Katashio Culture Center serves as the source of Katashio Shopping Street’s energy
As we were exploring Katashio Shopping Street, we realized that everyone working in the shopping street was striving to create an environment where people not only enjoy their shopping but also appreciate unique products and beautiful scenery. Katashio Culture Center is a place where everyone gathers to discuss a range of issues, including those that are difficult to be solved individually and come up with ideas for making improvements. It is also a place for holding various events, such as Rakugo shows (Japanese traditional comic storytelling), concerts, and exhibitions, which is an indispensable source of support for the vitality of Katashio Shopping Street.
