This is a photo taken in 1959. It was the year when the bus service started between Takada and Takatori. You can see a big banner in the photo.In front is a signboard for the inn. Further back，you can also see the building of the old post office (library) at that time. The present-day parking lot in Hongo Cho also was originally an inn.
