解題・説明	奥書に「従久継所望書之　夢老（花押）」とある。夢老は肖柏 (1443～1527) の別号。中院通淳の子で、若くして建仁寺正宗竜統の許に出家、肖柏と称した。応仁の乱 (1467-1477) の頃摂津国池田に結庵、永正8年 (1511) 堺に移り、牡丹花と名のる。この間、京畿の歌枕を探訪し、文明7、8年 (1475-76) 頃宗祇に師事、和歌・連歌を学び、同13年古今伝授を受ける。連歌に宗祇・宗長との長享2年 (1488) 『水無瀬三吟百韻』、延徳3年 (1491) 『湯山三吟百韻』が知られる。
解題・説明（英語）	The endleaf has an inscription “I, Muro, inscribed the book at Hisatsuguʼs request” with signature. The “Muro” name in the inscription is the poetic name of Shohaku (1443-1527). He was the son of Naka-no-in Michiatsu, while he was still young he received the religious orders from Shoju Ryuto of the Kenninji temple, and was given the name Shohaku. During the period of the Onin War (1467-1477), he built himself a hermitage at Ikeda in Settsu-no-kuni, in 1511 (Eisho 8) he moved to Sakai, and took the name Botange. Around that time, he visited the famous places of poetry, around 1475-76 (Bunmei 7-8) he became a pupil of Sogi, and studied the waka and renga forms of poetry, and in 1841 (Bunmei 13) he received the transmission of the Kokinshu poetry collection. He is known for the renga poetry collection of MinaseSangin Hyakuin in 1488 (Chokyo 2) and Yunoyama Sangin Hyakuin in 1491 (Entoku 3) done with Sogi and Socho.
